Not only that, as the watch was gifted by Christine to Stephen, it had a personalized engraving on it. The message reads ‘Time will tell you how much I love you’, which makes this watch extra special.
All about time
As the movie largely revolves around the concept of time, it was more than fitting for a luxury watch brand like Jaeger-LeCoultre to feature their watch in the movie. Similar to the viewers and horologists, it must’ve been equally agonizing for the watchmakers to watch their creations get destroyed completely in the movie.

In addition to Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Perpetual, we also saw other luxurious watches in Dr Strange’s grand collection. It featured a special edition of the exemplary Jaeger LeCoultre Grande Reverso Rouge 1931 (Q278856J) with a reversible case. This watch did not adorn the wrist of the wizard, instead of rested in the watch winder drawer along with the TAG Heuer Monaco chronograph as well as the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona.
Special Screening by Jaeger-LeCoultre
As having such a strong association with the film, the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer held a special screening of Marvel’s ‘Dr. Strange’ in New York. The screening was attended by the special guest and lead of the movie, Benedict Cumberbatch along with his wife Sophie Hunter. The screening also saw other renowned personalities like Gerard Butler, Valentino, Calvin Klein, Ryan Cooper, Jeremy L. Carver and more.
